The Councilor for Territory and Sustainability, Damià Calvet; the Mayor of Tremp (Catalan Pyrenees), Maria Pilar Cases, and the director of the Cartographic and Geological Institute of Catalonia (ICGC), Jaume Massó, inaugurated this Saturday the Pyrenees Geological Open Museum (PGOM), located in the capital of Pallars Jussà. It is an open-air geological museum that aims to bring citizens closer to the basics of geology, with particular attention to the Pyrenees, and to the evolution of Earth and life. All in a simple and playful way without losing the scientific rigor.
